According to AllThingsD:

In February 2010, Google told Samsung that Samsung?s ?P1? and ?P3? tablets (Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Tab 10.1) were ?too similar? to the iPad and demanded ?distinguishable design vis-?-vis the iPad for the P3.?

Look where Samsung is now. Also, perhaps Google should have listened to its own advice.?

On a related note,?Bloomberg?reported?earlier this afternoon that Apple would present to jurors evidence indicating Samsung destroyed emails apart of the trial set to begin July 30. It will all be interesting, as Apple is seeking?$2.53 billion in damages from Samsung. Stay tuned!
