I am a first-time home buyer who is planning on moving to the Northeast. I would like to look at houses in the suburbs of Syracuse, NY, an area that I am not very familiar with. I'm planning on a 3-day trip to explore the area as well as look at houses. The ones I have found so far that fit our needs are being sold by different companies, and there is still the possibility of us not liking the area at all. Would it be a good idea to contact a buyers' agent in order to maximize our time while looking at houses, or just see the houses independently??
Keep in mind, we're not necessarily committed to moving to *that* area, we just want to see what they have to offer.?
